Bell Sympatico uses PPPoE instead of DHCPyou need to change the configuration of your router from default DHCP to PPPoE and put your username and password into the configuration, did u do that?

谢谢你的回复，我改了设置，还是连不上。我用的是SMC的router,用启动盘从新设置，选了DSL之后，开始连接，每次的错误都是time out, please check your cable connection.... :(

其实ADSL共享用HUB就行了嘛，有时候多花钱不一定能把事办得更好。

U mean $10 for the extra IP address? I am not sure, please ask ur ISP agent. Technically it works on ADSL, u just set up PPPoE dial-up on each computer.

Just set your router to use PPPoe protocal and define your username and password.

不知道你有几个用户SHARE INTERNET ？ bell dsl 提供两个IP ，两台电脑一般用HUB 就行了。如果只有ROUTER，想办法把ROUTER 设置 成HUB 也可以使用。

您的HUB应该有三个以上的口子，把原来连modem的线头，连在和电脑并列的口子上，用直通还是交叉线来着？

越来越说不清楚。我一直用的是ROUTER，用过SYMPATICO的也用过PRIMUS的，现在用ROGERS。我奇怪的是为什么要把ROUTER设成HUB，就象说要把DVD想办法设成CD PLAYER一样。

not sure which router you've got, it's possible to have multiple ip on one interface, and you can create ip forward rules to forward packets accordingly.

你可以用hub, 这样拥有2个IP, 另外一个IP连接router, 提供２台电脑连接，这样你的速度下降不多
