As you might remember, the head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten.
你可能记得吧 ~~有个公司老板逃过了911双子星大楼劫难 --- 因为他儿子那天开始上幼儿园. (他送儿子去上第一天的幼儿园.)
Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts.
另一个家伙侥幸逃过一劫因为那天轮到他去买甜甜圈.
One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.
一位女士因为迟到上班而逃过一劫因为那天她的闹钟没响.
One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an auto accident.
另外一个人被困在纽泽西高速道路上面 --- 因为那天有个车祸.
One of them missed his bus.
逃过一劫的还有一位那天没赶上交通巴士的.
One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change.
一位女士不小心在吃东西时弄脏了衣服而必须回家换衣服(而逃过一劫).
One's car wouldn't start.
有个人的车子那天怎么也发不动.
One couldn't get a taxi.
有人那天叫不到出租车(的士) .
The one that struck me was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today..
最让我印象深刻的一位 --- 是一位穿上新鞋去上班的先生 --- 他想了各种方法要去上班, 但是在他到达办公室之前他的脚已经起泡了. 他在路上走进一家药房去买贴片. --- 这是他为何至今仍然活着的原因…

Stuck in traffic ,
卡在塞车当中时,
Miss an elevator,
错过电梯时,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone ...
(必须)转身回去接一个响了的电话时…
All the little things that annoy me.
所有让我很烦的小事.
I think to myself,
我就自己想,
This is exactly where
现在这状况就是
God wants me to be
上帝要我存在的状况
At this very moment..
就在这非常的时刻里…
Next time your morning seems to be going wrong ,
所以下次, 你的早上好像每件事都不对头时,
You can't seem to find the car keys,
你似乎找不到你车的钥匙,
You hit every traffic light,
你沿路都遇到红灯,
Don't get mad or frustrated;
不要生气或是觉得烦;
It May be just that God is at work watching over you.
那很可能就是上帝正工作着在守护着你.
May God continue to bless you with all those annoying little things
但愿上帝继续用所有那些烦人的小事来加持祝福你!
And may you remember their possible purpose.
也但愿你记得他们的可能目的.
