Today, saw a news that says a Chinese student developed an application system. He went to an Canadian-Indian enterprise organization to look for opportunities to promote it. It is a bit sad that we Chinese do not have that kind of organization.
Look around, we have a great number of IT professionals moving to Canada and most of people get decent positions in either small or big organizations in different industries. I believe those smart guys have a lot of knowledge, skills and experience in their position and make great contributions to Canadian IT industry; we also learn a lot new and advanced technologies from local industries.
However, when I meet technical difficulties, career issues, need someone to discuss my new idea, or want to share to ask resource, I just think it would be wonderful if we have a our own Chinese IT organization where I could do above things.
This is just an idea from my prespective. I believe a well-oriented and well-organized organization could help Chinese IT people get together to make us stronger on the market. Also the organization may be the place where people share ideas or promote their inventions.
Honestly, I have always been stopped to start an organization by just imagining difficulties, spending time and such energe. Hehe, Maybe I am not an ambitious person, maybe it is because the power of one single person is too small.
So I am wondering about two things:
1, Should we Chinese IT people have our own IT related organization?
2, Are we Chinese IT people able to do it ?
Just an idea that may be past very fast, any comment is welcome!
