本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛我刚被证实怀孕３－４周。我有以下问题请教大家：
１。 我在当前公司已工作半年，试用期已过。我想请问怀孕多少周后公司不能以任何理由解雇我。问这个目的是想决定什么时候再告诉公司怀孕的事。公司人员流动快，借口炒人也不是没有可能，只是不想平添麻烦。
２。 公司对生育的benefits 有如下规定：
Leave Options
If you are eligible, you may receive up to 17 weeks of unpaid pregnancy leave and, if you have taken
a pregnancy leave, up to an additional 35 weeks of unpaid parental leave in accordance with
provincial employment standards legislation. If you have not taken a pregnancy leave, you may be
eligible for up to 37 weeks of parental leave.
Compensation During Leave
Pregnancy, parental and emergency leaves are unpaid. However, employment insurance benefits
may be available. Please note that the use of paid time off will not extend the length of a pregnancy,

我的理解是我生产后公司并不pay我的产假，而是让我拿EI. 我的问题是：
a)我能拿多久的EI？EI大概多少钱一个月？
b)我该什么时候申请EI？ EI从什么时候付？
c)我能享受的产假共多长？我明年六月生宝宝，９月初可能去读一年MBA，假如我想在产假其间把书读了,不知道产假有没有一年的时间？
我知道带宝宝又读书还要想在休完产假后能保住工作不容易，但是也只能咬牙挺过去了。不知道有没有姐妹谁有类似情况在宝宝２－３个月大时去全职读书的。时间精力是否应付得了？（假如有老人帮忙）。我没有概念即使老人帮忙，全职读书并带宝宝是否可行。
